On the morning of 05/11/2019, the Institute for Population, Health and development (PHAD) coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Chemistry province organized the seminar “Mobilizing resources and local initiatives to strengthen access to clean water, school drinking water for students and people of Thanh culture province”. This activity is within the framework of the “local Vietnamese activities for environmental health” project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
With the participation of representatives of the departments of Thanh Chemistry province, representatives of the local district, the private sector has initiatives on the solutions of clean water and school drinking water and the Vietnam National Health and wellness (VIWHA, more information here), the seminar focused on discussing the situation of clean water works , using school drinking water in Thanh chemistry province, and actual demand. From there, the proposal of solutions, initiatives and operational plans to mobilize resources to increase access to clean water, school drinking water for the people of Thanh chemistry province.
